We’re delighted and honoured to announce that our Clinical Directors and co-founders, Simon and Emma, were recently featured in the My Face My Body’s Ultimate Guide to 100 Global Aesthetic Leaders 2020/2021. Simon and Emma are recognised globally as expert thought leaders in their field and both work tirelessly to raise the standards within the aesthetics industry – but it’s nice to have that recognised in print!
This publication has been meticulously curated from the best of the MyFaceMyBody Award programmes, bringing together an elite group of specialist medical professionals and practice spotlights from around the world.
Since its inception in 2009, Simon and Emma have developed the Clinetix brand to become one of the most ethical, pioneering and patient focused clinical groups in the world. They’re also flying the flag to keep Scotland at the forefront of the international map of aesthetic medicine globally, with Clinetix being the ONLY Scottish clinic to feature in the Ultimate 100 Guide.
They are also co-founders of the Aesthetic Training Academy (ATA) in Glasgow, established to provide the highest quality medical aesthetic training to develop the best practitioners for the future. The ATA is the first and only training academy that is registered with governing body, Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS), with Simon and Emma working in partnership with HIS to improve educational standards and ultimately deliver better quality care across the industry. Clinetix is, first and foremost, a medical practice and so we are passionate about driving up standards within the industry to encourage only those with suitable qualifications and medical training (doctors, dentists and nurses) into the industry.

Emma initially trained as a paediatric dentist but has dedicated the last 14 years to pursuing excellence in the field of aesthetic medicine, co-founding Clinetix with Simon in 2009 and co-founding the Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners (ASAP).

Dr Simon Ravichandran MBChB. MRCS
Simon initially trained as an ear, nose and throat surgeon before retiring from the NHS to commit full time to the development of aesthetic medicine, co-founding Clinetix with Emma in 2009. He is an internationally recognised lecturer and educator in aesthetic medicine, known for his enthusiasm and passion when teaching. He is the co-founder and chairman of the Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners (ASAP).
