Terms & Conditions

Information

All patients are required to provide contact details; including address, mobile telephone number, date of birth and email in order to secure an appointment.

All clients will complete a medical history form prior to or at their first appointment, this is necessary to inform the consultation and treatment planning process.

All information will be treated as confidential and protected in accordance with Data Protection legislation

Patient information will not be shared with third parties without written permission and you will not receive unsolicited information from us.

You may choose to remove yourself from our mailing list at any time, by unsubscribing.

Appointments

Please provide at least 48 hrs notice if you require to cancel or reschedule your appointment so that we may make the best use of our appointment diary.

When diaries are particularly busy, we may take a nominal deposit, of (£50) refundable on attendance, to mitigate missed appointments.

If you do not attend a booked appointment, and fail to advise us in advance, a £50 non-refundable booking fee will be charged to make another appointment.

Please do NOT attend the clinic for an appointment if you are unwell. If you are unsure, please call and discuss. Many treatments are contraindicated if you are unwell; this includes colds, cold sores or local skin infections.

Routine review appointments are offered after treatment with anti-wrinkle injections as a courtesy. If you are unable to attend the review appointment at 2-3 weeks, no additional treatment or ‘top up’ is provided once the review period of 2-3 weeks has passed.

Children

Except in exceptional circumstances, we do not treat children or young adults under the age of 18.

Due to Healthcare Improvement Scotland regulations children under 16 years of age are not permitted within the clinical treatment area.

Payment

Patients will receive one free of charge consultation with a medical practitioner or skin aesthetician; subsequent consultations will be subject to a £50 fee.

In order to secure your consultation appointment, we require a £50 deposit to be paid at time of booking, but this deposit is fully redeemable against treatments and/or products at Clinetix, following your consultation (i.e. your £50 deposit will be taken off the price of any treatments and/or products subsequently undertaken as part of your treatment plan). 

You will be advised of the full costs of any treatment plan proposed and agreed, including that of any maintenance treatment, before any treatment is undertaken. Should you decide not to go ahead with treatment at Clinetix, for any reason, your £50 deposit will be refunded. In some circumstances, although it is a rare occurrence, patients can be deemed unsuitable for treatment at Clinetix and, in these cases, your £50 deposit will also be refunded.

An invoice for your treatment will be issued at the time of consultation. We politely request that this is settled 7 days in advance of your treatment. If you are attending for a repeat treatment as part of an ongoing treatment plan and there has been no requirement for a consultation, we will require a £50 deposit in advance of your treatment.

The clinic accepts cash, major debit and credit cards and Clinetix Gift Vouchers.

A discretionary deposit will be taken for some treatments and in some circumstances for example where specific products and materials need to be ordered.

Gift Vouchers

These gift voucher terms and conditions apply to gift vouchers purchased either online via https://www.clinetix.co.uk/shop/gift-vouchers/ as well as gift vouchers purchased in person at any of the clinics within the Clinetix Group.

Voucher duration – gift vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of activation, after which they automatically expire. For gift vouchers purchased in person at Clinetix, the date of activation is the purchase date. For gift vouchers purchased online, the date of activation is the date of dispatch of your order.

Voucher redemption – gift vouchers may be redeemed in person at Clinetix against fees for consultation or treatment and/or retail product sales, provided the gift voucher is redeemed within the validity period (prior to the expiry date published on your gift voucher). Gift vouchers may be redeemed in whole or in part against your transaction with Clinetix.

Expired gift vouchers – Following the temporary closure of the clinics due to the COVID pandemic, expired vouchers as at the date of reopening (26th April 2021) will automatically be extended for 6 months from their original expiry date. So, for example, a gift voucher that was originally due to expire in January 2021 (when the clinics were temporarily closed due to Level 4 lockdown) will now expire July 2021, 6 months after the original expiry date. Please note that extended vouchers can only be redeemed against in clinic treatments, following a remote consultation, so we advise all patients with extended gift vouchers to book in for a consultation as soon as possible, so that their practitioner can arrange the treatment appointment in sufficient time prior to the expiry date of the extended gift voucher.

Use of promotional codes – from time-to-time Clinetix may run promotional codes for use in conjunction with vouchers. To benefit from the promotional code, it must be entered at the checkout at the time of the gift voucher purchase. Promotional codes cannot be applied retrospectively (after the gift voucher has been purchased).

Transfer – ownership is assigned at the point of purchase to the gift voucher recipient and gift vouchers are non-transferrable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Gift voucher balance – any balance on the gift voucher is non-transferrable, non- refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash nor can it be redeemed against the purchase of another gift voucher. Your gift voucher will automatically expire once the balance has been redeemed in full.

You can check your gift voucher balance at any time by enquiring at any of the clinics within the Clinetix Group or by checking your gift voucher balance online at: https://www.clinetix.co.uk/shop/gift-vouchers/ . To check your gift voucher balance, either in person or online, you will need to present your unique gift voucher code.

Gift voucher top ups – For gift vouchers purchased online, you can top up your gift voucher at any time with additional funds provided the gift voucher is still valid and has not yet expired. To top up your Clinetix gift voucher, you would need to present your original, unexpired voucher in person at the till point at any of the clinics within the Clinetix Group. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed (or topped up) after the expiry date.

Lost or stolen – the recipient is solely responsible for the safe keeping of the gift voucher following delivery. Clinetix cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen gift vouchers and cannot reimburse the remaining balance on any lost or stolen gift vouchers.

Refunds – gift vouchers are non-refundable other than within the 14-day cancellation period as per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Clinetix reserves the right to cancel, withdraw or alter the terms and conditions applicable to the sale of gift vouchers at any time and without prior notice. This does not affect your legal rights. Any changes will automatically apply from the date they are published on this page. It is your responsibility to check these gift voucher terms and conditions, from time-to-time, to ensure you are aware of the prevailing terms at the point of purchase.

Refunds

Fees charged for treatment are for the delivery of a treatment and the accompanying service, which is inclusive of:

  • consultation and assessment
  • provision of information and advice
  • safe treatment with evidence-based products
  • follow up appointments and aftercare advice and support, as appropriate

Whilst we undertake to provide excellent service; factual, honest and ethical advice, safe, expert treatment in experienced hands and only the best products, we cannot guarantee your results and cannot offer refunds if the results achieved fail to meet your expectations.

Clinetix gift vouchers are non-refundable other than within the 14-day cancellation period as per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Skin Confidence Rewards

Skin Confidence Rewards is a customer loyalty rewards programme operated by Clinetix.

When a customer buys full price retail products, this constitutes a qualifying product purchase, earning Skin Confidence Rewards (loyalty points) equivalent to 10% of the total order value of all qualifying product purchases.

Skin Confidence Rewards do not apply to sale or discounted products. Purchases of sale and/or discounted products are deemed non-qualifying product purchases and are specifically excluded from the Skin Confidence Rewards loyalty programme.

1 point is equivalent to £0.1 credit value. So, for example, a customer purchasing £100 worth of retail products will be allocated 100 Skin Confidence Rewards points, which is equivalent to £10 worth of credit.

Skin Confidence Rewards points will automatically be added to the customer’s account following successful receipt of payment for all qualifying products purchased and will be valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. Skin Confidence Rewards will be held as credit on the customer account until they are either redeemed against a Clinetix treatment or they expire, whichever occurs first.

Skin Confidence Rewards points are only redeemable against treatments at Clinetix and only for treatments carried out by practitioners who are directly employed by Clinetix. They do not apply to any self-employed practitioners who may hire room space from Clinetix from time to time.

When loyalty points are redeemed at Clinetix, they are subject to a maximum redeemable value of £100 against any one transaction. If the accumulated credit balance from Skin Confidence Rewards is greater than £100 at the time of redemption against a treatment, the remaining loyalty points will continue to be held on the customer account until they are either redeemed against a future Clinetix treatment or the Skin Confidence Rewards points expire, whichever occurs first.

Skin Confidence Rewards cannot be used in conjunction with product sales or with any other offer or discount, are non-transferrable and non-refundable. Skin Confidence Rewards points have no cash value.

In the event that a qualifying retail product sale is subsequently cancelled and refunded, for any reason, then the corresponding Skin Confidence Rewards points will be deducted from the customer’s account following successful processing of the refund.

Clinetix reserves the right to cancel, withdraw or alter the terms and conditions applicable to the Skin Confidence Rewards programme at any time and without prior notice. Any changes will automatically apply from the date they are published on this page and so you should check this page, from time to time, to review any changes to the terms and conditions.

Skin Confidence Rewards Competition

All customers purchasing full price retail products between October and December 2021 will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win 500 Skin Confidence Rewards (loyalty points).

The competition will close at 12 noon on Friday 31st December and the prize draw will take place shortly thereafter. Please note, due to the closures over the festive period the winner will be announced on Thursday 6th January 2021.

One prize winner will be drawn at random to win 500 Skin Confidence Rewards (loyalty points equivalent to £50 worth of credit) which can be redeemed against future treatments at Clinetix (as per the above terms and conditions). The prize winner will be notified via email and/or phone that they have won and the points will automatically be added to the customer’s account until they are either redeemed against a future Clinetix treatment or expire, whichever occurs first.

Clinetix reserves the right to publicise the winner’s name on social media to demonstrate that the prize has been awarded and authenticate the competition.

Strictly Competition

Eligibility Rules for Competition

Strictly one entry per person. 

Entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom and must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. 

Whether the eligibility criteria has or has not been met is at our sole discretion and we may require evidence or confirmation from entrants before the prize is awarded.

Employees of Clinetix and their immediate family members (including any live-in partner) and the employees of any third-party suppliers are not eligible to enter. Any such entries will be deemed invalid. 

Provision of false contact details (name, address, email etc.) will result in the entry being deemed invalid. Entries made using ‘bots’, i.e., generated by a script, macro or the use of any non-human entry via automated devices will be void.

Competition Prize Package

One winner will be drawn at random to win our Strictly Come Dancing prize package:

• Two Tickets to Strictly Come Dancing – the Live Tour – on Saturday 5th February 2022 at the SSE Hydro Glasgow

• Dinner, bed and breakfast for 2, staying in a Luxury Suite at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Glasgow (5-minute walk to SSE Hydro) with champagne on arrival

Competition Prize Draw

The competition will close at 12 noon on Friday 10th December 2021. The prize draw will take place shortly thereafter and the winner will be chosen at random from all qualifying entrants. The winner will be contacted as soon as practicable on or after the draw date. All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner on the contact details provided when they entered the competition.  As the prize is time-bound (to the Live Tour – on Saturday 5th February 2022 at the SSE Hydro Glasgow) the winner must provide confirmation of their acceptance of the prize to info@clinetix.co.uk within 21 days of our notification of winning. Upon the expiry of the 21 days, if the acceptance of the prize package has not been received, we reserve the right to award the prize package to an alternative entrant.

Responsibility for Taking Up The Prize

This prize package has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash and is non-refundable and non-transferrable. We accept no liability for making alternative arrangements or alternative prizes for any prize winner who is unable to take up the prize as a result of not being available to attend the show on the necessary date or any other unforeseen circumstance. If the winner is not able to claim their prize by attending the live show and overnight stay, then no other alternatives will be offered. You are required to cover the cost of your own travel expenses, so the prize winner(s) is(are) responsible for their own travel/transport costs to and from the Crowne Plaza Hotel and to and from the SSE Hydro. 

Publicity and Personal Information

Clinetix reserves the right to publicise images of the winner on its social media channels and by entering the competition, you agree to consent this. By entering the competition, you are giving permission for Clinetix to contact you by email and/or phone and you also confirm your agreement with Clinetix privacy policy in relation to how we use the data you provide. From time to time, Clinetix sends out promotional emails to publicise news, promotions or special offers. By entering this competition, you are providing consent to this use of your personal data. You have the option to opt-out of this or you can update your preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

Applicable Terms and Conditions

Clinetix reserves the right to alter the applicable terms and conditions relating to this competition at any time and without prior notice. Any changes will automatically apply from the date they are published on this page. It is your responsibility to check these terms and conditions, to ensure you are aware of the prevailing terms and conditions.

Complaints

If you have a complaint please inform us as soon as possible. An appointment will be made for you to be seen. A copy of our Complaints Policy is available on request.
