Best-in-Class Providers. Best-in-Class Products.

Research drives everything we do at Clinetix – precisely why we exclusively trust the BELOTERO® collection of fillers with our valued patients. Clinically proven to offer the least amount of swelling among dermal filler brands, it offers a safety profile that is second to none. Our patients love BELOTERO® because of the natural-looking results and smooth appearance it provides every time. The dermal filler itself contains a local anaesthetic, which numbs the injection site and can negate pain during and after the procedure.

Your Safety Is Paramount

At the heart of our approach to dermal fillers is patient safety. Coupled with the BELOTERO® collection, we exceed and redefine the standard for disinfection and hygiene – minimising the risk of complications. Our commitment to safety is evidenced by our HIS registration and sterling reputation as Scotland’s leader in aesthetic clinical excellence.

Frequently Asked Questions

The injected area will initially feel different after your treatment. You may experience some fullness and/or tenderness due to the presence of the filler and the post-operative swelling. This should subside within a few days as the filler fully integrates with your tissues and the swelling goes away. Although not common, lumps after filler treatment should also disappear within a couple of weeks or in rare cases, you may need a follow- up appointment to assess and treat these. At Clinetix, we use BELOTERO ® dermal fillers, which are manufactured with a highly innovative process known as CPM ® technology. This allows the gel to ‘mimic’ tissue behaviour. For you, this means that BELOTERO ® integrates seamlessly into your skin and stays intact for lasting effect.

Just like any other medical aesthetic procedure, individual results will vary. Factors playing a role in how long the results will last include your genetics, your age, your overall health, the choice of filler and where it is injected. Lip, cheek, temple and jawline dermal fillers are generally more durable and can last up to 18 months. Fillers injected into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production may need repeated every 4 months in the first year followed by one maintenance treatment every year. During your consultation, your medical practitioner will explain how long a certain filler lasts for you.

For best results, the key is to choose an experienced injector with expert knowledge in high quality fillers. Your medical practitioner will choose the ideal product for the area that needs to be treated. You can also make your filler look its best by protecting your skin from sun exposure, quit smoking and eating a healthy diet.

Soft tissue fillers or dermal fillers are substances injected into the tissues of your face. They are used to restore volume loss due to ageing, add volume in areas of your face to create a more youthful and contoured look, fill lines and wrinkles and improve skin quality. The majority of dermal fillers contain a natural substance called hyaluronic acid and can last up to 18 months. Other available dermal fillers include those made from calcium hydroxylapatite, poly-L-lactic acid, polymethyl methacrylate, and autologous fat (fat that is transplanted from another part of your body). During your consultation, your medical practitioner will decide what filler is best for you.
