Don’t get tripped up by Aesthetics myths

Continuing into May, we have more exciting social media series aimed with both our patients, and those new to the Aesthetic industry, in mind.

In particular, we would like to recognise that in the ever-evolving world of aesthetics, myths and misconceptions will often arise. From skincare products to aesthetic treatments, these myths can influence decisions, shape perceptions, and even impact individuals’ confidence and well-being. That’s why debunking these myths is not just important—it’s essential.

With that being said, we will be taking some extra time and care to curate educational, and hopefully entertaining, video series to help empower our patients to stay afloat of the industry myths.

Empowering through education

We truly understand that living with a particular skin concern or feeling self-conscious about your skin, can really take its toll on your general well-being. This can mean that many individuals will seek out the ‘quick fixes’ and other too-good-to-be-true promises in the hope of gaining the results they seek. When there are so many myths and misinformation clouding the landscape, it is more important than ever that education is paramount. Education can be one of the key factors in avoiding unrealistic expectations and disappointment. Empowering patients through knowledge will always be a priority at Clinetix, and we hope that our social media videos will be a fun, simple way to learn a bit more.

We like to include several of our medical practitioners in our social media videos, as between them they hold an extensive knowledge of the Aesthetics industry. They also spend a great deal of their professional time training and educating fellow practitioners, so we thought it was only fair that they share some of this knowledge with you on social media platforms.

Back to basics

Throughout the rest of April and into May, we will be continuing our popular ‘back-to-basics’ social media series, with a particular focus on Dermal Fillers. Soft tissue fillers or dermal fillers are substances injected into the tissues of your face. They are used to restore volume loss due to ageing, add volume in areas of your face to create a more youthful and contoured look, fill lines and wrinkles and improve skin quality. As these continue to be a very popular treatment, and for very good reason, we thought it was important to include Dermal Fillers into our monthly educational videos.

Conclusion

By challenging misinformation, promoting safety, empowering through education, and building trust, we can ensure our patients stay informed and Clinetix can remain an inclusive environment where individuals feel empowered to make choices that enhance their well-being and confidence. So let’s de-bunk the myths this upcoming month, and pave the way for a safer patient-centred future.

You can watch these videos on either our Youtube, Instagram and Facebook, but if there is something more specific you would like information on you can either browse our website or book a consultation.
