We can help you look younger with anti-ageing wrinkle treatments
Wrinkles on the upper part of the face, around the eyes, nose and on the forehead are often of concern as they can give the impression of an aged appearance. They can be treated alone but more commonly they are addressed as part of a whole face rejuvenation program. Wrinkle relaxing treatments are performed in Glasgow and Bothwell by our Medical Team made up of Dr’s Simon and Emma Ravichandran, Dr Paula Mann, Dr Sophie Johnston & RN Sarah Gillies.
Why choose us
Botox treatment for wrinkles is the most commonly requested aesthetic medical procedure worldwide. Botox is the trade name of a medicine called Botulinum Toxin Type A which is also available as Bocouture or Azzalure in the UK. The Doctors in Clinetix have extensive experience with all three forms of wrinkle relaxing injections.
Botox injections are a safe and effective method for reducing lines and wrinkles around the eyes and the forehead. The injections can also be used to address other areas of the face and neck as part of a treatment plan to smooth bands in the neck, narrow a wide jaw, smooth a dimpling chin and subtly lift the corners of the mouth.
We believe the goal of any aesthetic medical treatment is a natural looking outcome. In expert hands wrinkle relaxing injections result in a subtle reduction in lines and wrinkles in the treated area, without the appearance of having had a treatment at all.
Wrinkle Relaxing Injections
The most common areas to treat are the frown lines between the eyes, the horizontal forehead lines and crows feet. In expert hands Botulinum Toxin (Botox) Injections are used to help very fine lines just below the eye, lines on the side of the nose and also around the mouth. We can also used Botulinum Toxin injections to relax some muscles to subtly alter the appearance of the face also, in areas like the chin, the nose, the neck and the jawline.
The toxin we use for anti-wrinkle injections is a prescription only medicine which temporarily reduces lines and wrinkles. At Clinetix we administer this using an INViSIBLE NEEDLE ™ for a near painless experience. The injections take from a few days to 2 weeks to work and the treatments are usually repeated after four months if desired. Treatment is after consultation and assessment with one of our medical team and will be carried out only by a trained Doctor, Dentist or Nurse. The procedure takes only a few minutes.
