Fractora
Rejuvenate & restore your skin with Fractora at Clinetix West End.
Fractora skin treatment is a fractional rejuvenation and resurfacing treatment that reduces wrinkles to slow the effects of ageing and restore skin to its youthful appearance. Fractora lets you look and feel younger.
Fractora can be used on any areas that can benefit from skin renewal. At Clinetix we most commonly treat areas such as the lower eyelid, upper eyelid, smiles lines, forehead, cheeks, mouth and neck. Face and body areas that exhibit wrinkles, discolouration or acne scarring are suitable for treatment.
How does Fractora work?
Fractionated RF energy found in Fractora is a scientifically proven method to reduce wrinkles. It is minimally invasive, using a matrix of micro-pins to resurface and restore the skin, providing exceptional results with almost no patient downtime.
RF energy heats the deep layers of the skin in a controlled way to revitalise the collagen. Fractora treatment will improve skin complexion and texture for a more radiant and youthful appearance. Fractora also boasts a significant resolution of cystic acne and acne scars (studies have been shown to improve acne scarring by 50%).
How many treatments are required?
Depending on your Fractora treatment regime you can expect to have between 1-6 sessions. If you are looking to have other treatments, these can be carried out either in the same treatment session or a few days after. Fractora can also be combined with additional energy treatments or injectables to achieve a more extensive full face result, such as the Forma treatment.
Visible results can be seen immediately following treatment, however, typically after two weeks, the most noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
What is the downtime associated with Fractora?
You should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to a week depending on treatment parameters. Following treatment patients should moisturise the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. Patients should also ensure they use a high-quality broad-spectrum sunscreen every day to reduce future risk of skin cancer and slow the ageing process. As patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment.
Fractora treatments are performed by our expert team of Medical Practitioners and Clinical Aestheticians in our West End clinic.
