So Dr Ali, tell us a bit about yourself
Hi, I am Ali and I graduated MBChB from the University of Dundee in 2006. I have been honing my skills in medical aesthetics for the last 12 years, working alongside some of the best surgeons and injectors around the globe. My patients include royalty and celebrity alike but regardless of status, all my patients get the benefit of my uncompromising focus on their comfort and delivering natural, seamless results.
What attracted you to the field of aesthetic medicine?
I was always fascinated by our innate ability as human beings to recognise facial beauty and attractiveness across every culture, age and demographics. I wanted to learn how this deep instinctive process worked, and then, crucially, employ its principles to help restore and create that beauty for my patients.
How long have you worked in the medical aesthetics industry?

What is the most rewarding part of your job?
Our faces are our walking billboard. They can indicate our energy levels, age, mood, inner health, ethnicity, and even our life’s unique journey. Instantly, enhancing a person’s confidence through subtle and targeted aesthetic treatments is the biggest reward.
What are your hobbies and interests?
Poorly attempting to write some poetry and prose. Hobbies include collecting watches and fragrances. Interested in anything with an engine and wheels.
What would you say your favourite motto is?
Whatever you choose to do, do it to perfection.

Dr Ali hosts clinics in the Clinetix Bothwell Clinic on Mondays and Thursdays and in Clinetix West End (Hyndland) on Fridays. He will also be running monthly clinics in Clinetix Grampian.
