Best Clinic Scotland

The Best Clinic Scotland category is judged on commitment to excellence in customer service, patient care and patient safety, as well as evidence of good feedback from patients. The category is judged independently by the Aesthetics Awards judging panel.

Clinetix Bothwell is the flagship clinic founded by Drs Simon and Emma Ravichandran in 2009.

The creative and inspired teams of clinicians, therapists, management, marketing and reception staff build on their skills, knowledge and abilities, year on year, always putting the patient at the heart of what they do.

The clinic has relocated to a stylish and clinically state-of-the art fully purpose-built location. With more treatment rooms and an onsite video and broadcast studio, Clinetix Bothwell is a joy to work from and be treated in.

The Bothwell team are second to none, with loyal, caring and dedicated professional staff making up a cohesive and mutually supportive team, sharing our knowledge via podcasts, YouTube and social media.

Always seeking to lead the way, Clinetix Bothwell set up Virtual Consultations, via secure online video links, just one week after the first lockdown, and created industry-supporting Covid protocols that paved the way for a return to active clinical care.

With outstanding feedback and approval ratings of 4.9/5 Clinetix is fully living up to its aims of being a centre of excellence improving the lives of thousands.

The Croma Award for Reception Team of the Year

This award is open to reception teams of any size working in a clinic in the UK or Ireland. In selecting finalists and a winner for this award, the judges will look for evidence of ongoing, outstanding customer service, a continuous training programme, strong practitioner support and effective teamwork for the benefit of the clinic and its patients.

We are the Clinetix Reception Team. Hello and come on in!

It’s a genuine pleasure to welcome everyone to Clinetix and help them to feel as comfortable as if they were at home.

We have changed and evolved over the past year, taking on new roles, upskilling, and running with new responsibilities and challenges. Our Directors tell us we’ve achieved all this with grace and good humour at every turn, and we’re happy to take their word for it.

We have enjoyed getting to grips with new ways to support clients at Clinetix. We now manage and administer the Clinetix online shop, with all the stock, admin and logistics that involves.

Keeping everyone connected to Clinetix as safe, well and supported as possible has been a huge focus for us, with the implementation of the Clinetix Covid protocol and the online chat function for potential and existing patients to contact us.

We’ve changed and grown in our roles, and that’s helped us to adapt to new technologies and to a new clinic/home work balance.

Our team now extends from Glasgow in the west, through to Bothwell in the central belt and on to Inverurie on the north east coast. We have delighted in expanding our multi-site Reception Team and in supporting each other and our clients through this strange time online, by phone and chat, and our favourite – in person.

We hope to see you again soon.

Dr Paula says – I love:

  • the ability to make people feel better about themselves
  • working in an optimistic enthusiastic positive and supportive sub speciality
  • starting as a beginner and now teaching those who want to progress

I’ve developed and learned through:

  • webinars live and recorded
  • facial ultrasound training
  • collaboration in developing our training academy

When my patients are happy:

  • I feel genuinely privileged and so respectful when patients place their trust in me and choose to continue working with me to maintain and achieve their goals.
