Dr’s Simon and Emma Ravichandran attended the Aesthetics Conference and Exhibition this year at the Business Design Centre at Islington, one of the first of the larger conferences that we spoke at it is always a pleasure to be invited back to share our experiences with fellow up and coming aesthetic doctors, dentist and nurses. This year the conference had a series of expert sessions on the main floor within the exhibition that gave the opportunity for all the delegates to gain knowledge and insight from listening to a series of lectures and observing demonstrations performed by Key Opinion Leaders.
This year Simon gave a short demonstration of mid facial volume replacement on the Expert clinic and Emma presented a lip and perioral rejuvenation case in the Masterclass section. Being Simon and Emma though they hijacked each others talks so they were both on stage for both sessions. Both sessions where given to a full house and were really well received with Simon and Emma taking questions well beyond the end of the sessions!
The team were also there to represent the Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners Conference which is being held this year on the 26th and 27th May at the Technology and Innovation Centre in Glasgow as well as the ATA, the ATA is the new Aesthetic Training Academy that has been set up in Glasgow to act as a national training centre for Aesthetic Medicine and is hosting a first of it’s kind expert masterclass in May.
