2. Advanced Botulinum Toxin Training
Advanced Botulinum Toxin Training.
The advanced course is a program aimed at delegates with some previous experience with injecting botulinum toxins. The course is a full day, with emphasis on practical training, where you will perform treatments under supervision, and observe several procedures undertaken by advanced practitioners and other delegates. The advanced course is an ideal opportunity for practitioners to expand on the treatments they already provide, increasing the treatment options available, and building confidence in your technique.
Learning Objectives:
Learn how botulinum toxins can be used to rejuvenate the lower two thirds of the face.
Specific areas are treatment of the chin, the masseter, the neck, and the mouth.
Understand how botulinum toxins can be used to create an eyebrow lifting effect.
Learn how to treat axillary hyperhidrosis with botulinum toxin.
Course Structure:
The course typically follows the outline below. We always have small groups, between 4 to 6 delegates, to encourage an interactive and personalized format. Because of this the outline is not rigidly adhered to and can be altered to answer specific questions based on the delegates requirements.
09.15 - 09.45 Coffee and Registration
09.45 - 10.15 Introduction and recap of basic knowledge
10.15 - 11.00 Assessment of the lower two thirds of the face
