ST Face Lift

Using the Elos Refirme ST device we can achieve firm, tight skin without the need for a conventional face lift.  Elos Refirme uses infrared energy and radiofrequency to gently heat the deeper layers of the skin which encourages development of new collagen in the dermis.

After the initial treatment a gentle swelling of the soft tissues provides an instant lift, filling out fine lines and lifting the cheeks and jowls, (the instant face lift) This subsides over the next two to three days as the swelling settles but new collagen formation and deposition in the dermis continues for a further six weeks.  With repeated treatments the skin quality improves, with increased firmness, a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, and a lifitng of the jowls and cheeks that can last for up to twelve months.

Initially a series of three to six treatments is recommended, with single annual treatments afterwards to maintain the effect.

The treatment is generally well tolerated, with only a mild warmth being felt.  After the treatment the skin can sometimes be a little reddened but this tends to subside within a few hours.  Most people are fine to return to work after a lunchtime treatment.
