ASAP - The Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners
One sunny day after a fantastic conference in Monaco, four Aesthetic Practitioners were sitting next to each other on a minibus on the way back to the airport. 2 Nurses, a Doctor and a Dentist. They got to talking about all they had learned, how they had trained, and what they wanted to do next. It transpired that all four had attended different parts of the conference, spoken to different people, and came back with different knowledge. Due to the different backgrounds, all four had met different challenges within their careers, and managed them differently. All four practitioners had quite different backgrounds, different training and different skill sets.
“We must get together and share our knowledge” said practitioner 1.
“You’re On!” agreed the other three.
So it became, that when all four returned to not so sunny Scotland, they joined forces and created the Association of Scottish Aesthetic Practitioners.
The Association of Scottish Practitioners is a non- profit organisation that aims to provide educational networking opportunities for all aesthetic practitioners in Scotland. We aim to provide a members only website and forum that will allow practitioners to log in and ask questions to be answered by other members. We will update members as to forthcoming courses and training events, we will update members on information regarding latest technology and techniques, we will hold educational meeting with invited speakers to talk on a wide range of relevant topics, we will provide access to industry and suppliers, informal advice regarding medico-legal and marketing matters will be available. And we will encourage members to get involved with research and audit.
Thats a lot to get started with so bear with us.
The inaugural meeting is at the Dakota hotel at Eurocentral, just off the M8 on Thursday the 17th November from 6-9pm. Refreshments will be served and their will be three short presentations on Botulinum Toxins, Eye Rejuvenation with Dermal Fillers, and what can be achieved with Rhinoplasty.
