So you’ve just got just engaged! Has the initial excitement worn off yet? Well probably not but now there will be hundreds of ideas and plans bobbing about your head for the big day, but after you get the date, dress and venue sorted out, thoughts turn to how your want to look and feel on your big day!
Your wedding should be a reflection of who you both are as a couple and allow you to feel truly beautiful. Confidence is key and that is how I want all my Clinetix brides to feel on their wedding day. We aim to get your skin in shape and help boost your confidence in your skin to an all time high, meaning you can shine through on your big day and not hide behind layers of make up. Here is my low down on how to get your skin Wedding ready!
You’ve just got engaged!
Congratulations! Enjoy this happy exciting time and really take stock of how exciting the next coming months or years (I had a long engagement) are going to be and look forward to marrying the partner you are going to spend the rest of your life with.
12 months to go.
It’s always better to start thinking about your skin as far as possible ahead and your first step is to come for a complimentary consultation. This allows us to get to know you, your skin and the aims you would like to achieve. Different concerns can take slightly longer to achieve so giving yourself the maximum time possible means you can achieve maximum results. In your consultation we will also set out a treatment plan giving you a forecast to look forward to. This may include home use skin care products, regular skin rejuvenating treatments in clinic and an opportunity to discuss your treatment with one of our medical skin care experts.
6 months to go.
How times flies when your planning a wedding, lets hope the stress isn’t getting too much and you are enjoying the preparation. This is the time we start to put the hard graft in, sometimes introducing some more active treatments to accelerate the process of skin improvement.
Time to think about
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels will aid with a multitude of skin concerns such as acne, pigmentation, anti ageing and over all skin resurfacing. These can can be tailored individually so we address your specific needs for improvement and also tailor the downtime to your lifestyle (we can get great results with no downtime peels but if you need something stronger now is the time).
Microneedling
This treatment is aimed at breaking down scarring, easing pigmentation and softening fine lines and wrinkles.
Wrinkle relaxing injections – If anti aging or just wanting to look a little fresher on your big day is your main concern then Wrinkle relaxing injections may be the answer for you. This treatment uses the anti-wrinkle injections to carefully relax some of the muscles in your face that cause lines and wrinkles. These treatments are performed by one of the medical staff at the clinic.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers can aid with a number of concerns such as volume loss, definition and rejuvenation. Small areas of filler can restore lost structure in the face or enhance your natural beauty. Dermal filler treatments at Clinetix are performed by highly trained and experienced medical staff and our emphasis is on creating a natural refreshed look. You don’t to look “done” on your wedding day!
Photofacials
Photofacials use light energy to reduce redness, reduce pigmentation and rejuvenate skin. This helps create a more even skin tone with a smooth lustrous appearance.
4 months to go
In the clinic we see a lot of brides that can be quite concerned about how nervous they will be on their big day! Excess sweating or hyperhydrosis can be a huge concern but is easily treated. Areas for treatment can be the under arms, palms of the hands and on the face. If sweating is a concern having a hyperhidrosis treatment can take the worry away leaving you confident to look your best.
2 months to go !
Now its time to freshen and keep that beautiful rejuvenate skin in check. Light facial treatments such as the Red Autograph Facial and the Signature Lift Facial are your new best friends. These will gently resurface and brighten the complexion, boost hydration and refine the skin. We recommended a treatment every 2-3 weeks for optimum results!
Home care should be coming second nature now and you should be enjoying the results you are achieving at home. Wrinkle relaxing injections can be freshened up a month or so before the bit day also.

1-2 Weeks to go!
How did we get here already! With one week to go the butterflies may have begun to kick in and bridezilla might start to rear her ugly head.
